How It Started
Our founder spent a decade working in corporate travel, organizing conferences and business trips. The schedules were tight, the venues interchangeable, the experiences forgettable. During one particular Liverpool conference in 2017, a wrong turn led to a hidden courtyard where merchants once traded spices from distant continents.
That accidental discovery sparked a question: what if travel was about what you stumbled upon rather than what you ticked off?
Why Liverpool
This city rewrites its own narrative constantly. One generation built ships that connected continents. The next created music that changed global culture. Today's Liverpool balances preservation with reinvention better than almost anywhere else.
Most visitors see the famous facades. We wanted to show the spaces between them where real history lives.
Our Approach
Every tour we design begins with months of research. We talk to historians, long-time residents, archivists, and occasionally people who simply have fascinating stories about specific streets or buildings. Then we walk the routes ourselves, sometimes dozens of times, testing different paths and perspectives.
What emerges isn't a script. It's a framework flexible enough to adapt to each group's interests while ensuring nobody leaves without understanding why this city matters.
